Building products with our customers
We are also building products on request in direct response to a specific customer requirement or application. The development iterations have been shaped by the customers through feedback and real-life data. After product release, the feedback loop between customers and the development team is kept alive through sales and training. We explore new avenues and adaptations for these products to be used.
Awards and Selected Projects
The founders, Anil Alexander and Oscar Forth, won the Home Office Scientific Development Branch award along with the Metropolitan Police in 2010 for conceptualising and developing an audio processing product which is now used in major UK forensic audio laboratories.
In 2015, we developed MADCAT which was recognised ‘for making this a safer world’ as a finalist for the Security Innovation Award at the prestigious Security and Policing Event in the UK.
In 2016-2017, we were competitively selected by the UK Home Office to develop MADCAT audio fingerprinting software to detect illegal material.
We are further partners of the research network TAPAS (Training Network on Automatic Processing of PAthological Speech), a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network European Training Network (MSCA-ITN-ETN) project that aims to transform the well-being of people with debilitating speech pathologies.
