Dr Anil Alexander works with Oxford Wave Research as Founder & Director of Research.
He leads OWR’s work in audio acquisition, processing and pattern recognition related product development and R&D services. His interests are forensic audio processing, microphone arrays and speaker recognition. He has worked as a researcher in forensic automatic speaker recognition at the `Speech Processing and Biometrics group' at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, where he completed his PhD as well as at the 'Institut de Police Scientifique', Faculty of Law and Criminal Sciences, University of Lausanne. He enjoys teaching audio processing for law enforcement and analyses involving speaker recognition, audio enhancement, and acoustics.
